Sampling was conducted for two nights last November 16 and 17, 2018 at Malagos, Davao City. A total of six sites were selected, 2 residential areas, 2 agricultural areas and 2 forested areas.
A maximum of 50 bats were collected. Only non-endemic and non-threatened common species were included for sampling.
Pathogens investigated were limited to coronaviruses and leptospires.
